Ichor is the currency you spend to raise a Minor Artifact’s power. It comes in three tiers:

  • Crude Ichor (low tier)
  • Charged Ichor (mid tier)
  • Radiant Ichor (high tier)

It’s bound to your character — and that’s deliberate

Unlike Minor Artifacts, Ichor is character-bound and not tradable. This is an intentional, separate rule from itemization: artifacts follow UO’s “everything is tradable” economy, Ichor is progression and deliberately doesn’t. You can’t buy someone else’s Ichor, and you can’t sell yours.

How much you earn

Every eligible roster member gets a guaranteed Ichor payout when a run completes, Success or Failure alike (Failure’s payout is the same reduced amount described on Completion & Rewards). Which tier you earn, and how much, is set by the Keystone level the run completed at:

Keystone level Tier earned Base amount
1–4 Crude 10–16, increasing with level
5–8 Charged 10–16, increasing with level
9+ Radiant 10–16 at level 9, then increasing further the higher you push

Only one tier pays out per bracket — a Keystone 9+ run earns Radiant Ichor, not a mix of all three.

There’s a weekly cap, with catch-up built in

Each tier has a weekly earn cap meant to put a ceiling on how much you can stockpile in a given week, with a catch-up mechanic so a character created later in the shard’s life isn’t permanently behind on cap. The exact cap numbers are still being tuned, so we’re not printing a specific figure here that might go stale — check [AzeriteCurrency in-game for your live balance and this week’s cap.

Checking your balance

Type [AzeriteCurrency (no arguments) to open a read-only window showing your current balance in all three tiers plus this season’s earned total and cap. It works anywhere, not just inside the dungeon.
