AzeriteUO is currently in invite-based private testing. There is no public signup yet, and this page deliberately does not list a launch date — we’re not going to promise one before it’s real. If you’re reading this wiki without an invite, the best thing to do is watch for an announcement rather than ask staff for early access.
What private testing actually means here
Most of the content in this wiki — the dungeon, the currency, the artifacts — has already been through at least one round of real gameplay testing with the development team, with bugs found and fixed as a direct result. A few newer pieces (notably the PvM talent system’s leveling infrastructure) are implemented but haven’t had their first live testing pass yet. The status badge at the top of every page tells you which situation you’re looking at.
What we need from testers
- Play it like you would any other UO shard. The most useful bug reports come from normal play, not from deliberately poking at edge cases (though those are welcome too).
- Report anything that feels like an item loss, a duplication, or a reward that didn’t arrive. These are treated as top priority, every time.
- Tell us when something feels too hard or too easy, especially at low Keystone levels — this is an area the team is actively tuning.
- Expect numbers to change. Currency amounts, respec costs, and monster difficulty are explicitly called out in our own internal docs as subject to tuning during this phase.
What not to expect yet
- Talent combat bonuses (Guardian/Lifebinder/Reaver) doing anything in a fight — see PvM-Only Restrictions for exactly what is and isn’t live.
- A second dungeon, weekly affixes, or matchmaking tools — all planned for later, not part of this test.
